Quick Baby Update

Well, here is it June 30th and I am still pregnant! Woo-hoo! An answer to many prayers! I am ~37 1/2 weeks so that is full-term, and now it is just a waiting game until our little Seth decides to come on out!
I am - thankfully - still pretty comfortable... thank God for A/C!!!!!! But at the same I am really ready to meet this little guy! He is sitting quite low in my pelvis and that makes it hard to walk alot, get up from the floor, bend down, etc, etc, etc!
So, I had an OB check-up today, and I am measuring right on target, I have gained ~24 pounds, I am already dilated to 4.5 cm, and Seth's head is down at "zero station". So all of that to say that things are "ready for active labor", and once contractions start to become regular we need to head up to the hospital. I feel ready --- all of the baby things are down from the attic, clothes are washed, my bag is packed, the infant car seat is installed, I have cleaned and re-cleaned just about everything! So we will just continue to wait and see when Seth comes!
Robert has been hoping he will stay put while he is still working -- which is through tomorrow, so anytime after that would be great! We are so excited as we prepare for a newborn at our house!
The boys seem ready -- Luke asks ~1,000 questions a day about "baby Seth", and Daniel is happily oblivious to what is about to happen! He does hug and kiss my belly and say "-Efffff" which is just adorable!

Here's a couple of recent baby belly pics:

My belly is about the same size as it was with Luke

Here's little shirts that I made for the boys -- my 3 little Texas Boys!

And, lastly, here's one of Luke and Daniel being big helpers "washing dishes" for me ;)

Perhaps there will be news of little Seth's arrival on my next post?!?!?!

Boys Pics

My sweet Luke Bennett! He can be a thinker....
Serious....
Doubtful...
And just plain CUTE!!!!!
Just love my 3-yr-old big boy!

Lately, Daniel has learned a couple of new "tricks"....
He can JUMP!!!!!! And loves to practice all the time now! He bends down, says "Two, Two, Three, Jump!!!" and jumps over any line/crack, etc. and has even started jumping down from small steps! Super cute to watch him!

And he can go pee-pee in the potty!!!! In the past several weeks, he has pretty much started potty training himself -- in an effort to be just like his big brother!!!! He gets SUPER excited and says "Hurray, did it, did it!!!" And then we run around doing a happy dance, and giving everyone high fives!!! Another super cute thing he is doing now!

And a couple more cute pic of my little 20-month old boy!!!!

L & D Pics

A few weeks back, a friend of mine (Lori) took some wonderful pictures of my little men -- they were enjoying playing by a little creek, throwing rocks into the water and just acting "natural"! Here's some of my favorites!

Luke and Daddy's Catfish

Luke and Daddy headed out to Lake Belton yesterday (me and Daniel met up with them for a short while), and had a pretty successful trip! They caught ~15 catfish! Only 6 of which were "keepers" --- including a ~2.5 pounder!!! Luke's "big boy" rod seemed to be pretty lucky and he helped reel them all in! And he got so tickled about "putting them in the live well"!

This is the "Big Daddy" one (as Luke called it!)

One of Daddy's little ones

Daniel inspecting the catfish

Luke proudly holding up one of the "keepers"

A pic of all 6 that we brought home --- 5 decent sized ones, and 1 good sized one! We're gonna have a fish fry soon!

And lastly, a little video clip of Luke reeling in one of the catfish! Daddy is training him well!

My Lovable Luke Bennett

Here are a few fun pics of my super sweet, and sometimes ornery 3-year-old Luke Bennett. He is such a big boy -- super independent (especially when HE wants to be), always exploring, adventure-seeking, sometimes silly, lovey and cuddley, typical first-born with a touch of shyness. He gives great big hugs and says "I love you SO much!" and just melts my heart. He occasionally throws fits, demands his own way, and fights nap time; but all-in-all he is such a good kid, and I am thankful for him everyday!

Seeing just how many rocks he can hold at once!

Checking out a "very fuzzy caterpillar"

Sweet face (playing with my new 50mm lens!)

Loves to climb to the top of anything! (And jump down too!)

1/2 a smile -- and bed head ;)

Super cheesy smile while playing in brother's crib!

Running in the sprinkler!

Playing around at the zoo
On the horse statue

Going down the "otter slide"

Just hanging around!
