Playing Togther

The boys really do enjoy playing with each other and, for the most part, really do get along well! I tried to capture a couple of random moments playing nicely -- they were so focused on building their marble maze, they hardly even noticed me!

(Seth's shirt is wet -- soaking wet -- here because he is cutting his 4 canine teeth and has been drooling like mad!!! Poor boy, I hope this is the end of teething for a while!)

Pace Park Picnic with Friends

We met up with some of our Salado friends from church to have a picnic dinner and play at Pace Park in the creek. The kiddos had lots of fun and stayed in the water until the sun was going down and they were shivering and turning a little purple! I am enjoying these beautiful sunny spring days in the upper 80s and low 90s -- before it gets TOO HOT!!

Unfortunately, Robert had to work the night shift this day, but the other dads were watching out for the kids in the creek.

More Spring Soccer!

We are enjoying the Spring soccer season -- it's lots of fun watching these kiddos play!! Go Maroon team!

Laundry Room Color

I added some bright yellow color to the laundry room -- I can't seem to find a "before" picture, but all of the cabinets were plain white. So pretty basic and boring.

So, over the course of ~2 weeks, I took off all of the doors and painted the cabinets and then added some knobs. It has really brightened up the laundry room and makes me a little happier to be in there! And some days it seems like I am in there alot!

Boys at Play in April

April 12th: This was just a fun evening playing at the creek at Pace Park -- I think the boys would go everyday if it were up to them!!! They always have a blast and catch some minnows, bugs, frogs, etc.

April 13th: We took a trip up to the Waco Zoo with several friends!!! It started out being pretty cloudy, and it even drizzled on us for a little bit. But the clouds rolled out and the sun came up, and it was perfect zoo weather! The kiddos all had a blast (as usual!)

Anderson's and Larkins -- that seems like a bunch of kids for 2 just families, and it's not including the 2 on the way this summer!!! Ha! We are going to really miss these guys when they move this summer!

We got to see a training session with the zoo keeper and the Kimono dragon -- he eats frozen white mice (from the zoo keepers T-shirt pocket!) as a treat to follow the commands. The kids were fascinated!
