Christmas 2011

I tried to get a few pictures of the boys opening presents at Christmas this year -- there is such a rush and hustle and bustle that I forget to get my camera out and take some pictures in the middle of it all!  Here are a few...

Seth wanting a little help to get started
 Daniel tearing right in!
 Luke doing the same
And attempted picture of all 3 boys -- Ha, I tried!  (Daniel's face as he is trying to steal Seth's ball!  Oh, my!)

Seth all dressed up after church and ready to open presents!
The boys working together to open a big one!
Luke with his new warm blanket

The boys in their Christmas PJs this year!

Another attempt of all 3 boys together, this is what I got -- I will continue to try at least!

Now this is a fun attempt at a family picture -- unfortunately we waited until WAY PAST bedtime to do it though so the boys were not very cooperative!

The boys with Nana and Pops -- looking mighty sleepy!

Mug Shots

I lined the boys up to take their mug shots --
no, seriously, I was working on a little craft project I saw on Pinterest where you can make your own little silhouettes once you have a profile picture of your kiddo.
Anyways, I thought these were funny!

Suspect #1
Luke Bennett -- age 4 years, 8.5 months
Crime -- being a super sweet helper and big brother

Suspect #2
Daniel Cole -- age 3 years, 2 months
Crime -- being full of energy and life, with lots of spunk

Suspect #3
Seth Vaughan -- age 17.5 months
Crime -- being a silly boy that will make you smile!

 And 1 final "out-take"
Daniel was told to stand sideways, and look straight ahead....
Well, he did that fine, until 1 shot at the very last second, he turned to give me this goofy grin --
I laughed so hard at his sillyness!!!

Pictures of the New House

We were able to get all moved in at the very end of November.  All of the renovations and construction are almost (and finally) finished!  We are so very excited to be done and past the moving process!  And we are pretty sure this was our last time to move!!!!

It is nice to have Christmas decorations up -- it makes the house seem more "filled" and I just love decorating for Christmas!!!

This is the kitchen -- my favorite room in the house!!!

 The formal dining room
The office with double built-in desks
Short hallway from the front door looking into the living room
 Living room
Master bedroom -- off to the right side there is LOTS of room by 2 giant windows for a chaise lounge (eventually) to curl up and read a good book!
The massive playroom (what would have been the pool room)

Windows/doors looking into the living room from the playroom
Backdoor entry with family photo display
 Downstairs guest suite/storage right now
1/2 bath off of the kitchen

Fun by the Christmas Tree

The boys were having a fun time playing by the Christmas tree -- my Aunt Toni was visiting, so we tried to get some good pictures of them
being sweet,
being silly,
being ornery,
and just being boys!
I think they came out pretty cute, but I guess I am a little biased!  Ha!

Not sure what Seth was scheming here, but that look is priceless!
Getting to (carefully) play with ornaments.
Not sure where my little boy Luke has gone -- but this BIG boy has replaced him!!!  It happens overnight!
 Sweet smile from my Daniel
Seth was sporting a little black eye from a hard fall.
 I love that sweet smile!
And now for the fun ... a little wrestling, and a little hugging... Brotherly love!

Country Boys

I got the boys all dressed up in their "cowboy clothes" the other day and took some super cute pictures of them for our Christmas card this year.  There were LOTS and LOTS (and LOTS) of out-takes because they were being super silly, but I managed to get a few good ones in there too!
Enjoy!  Hope everyone has a wonderfully Merry Christmas and a fabulous welcome to 2012 (how is is already another new year?!?!)

Luke being serious

Luke and Daniel being serious -- I couldn't get Seth in with them (super mobile, super independent, and super did NOT want to take pictures this day)
Attempting to add Seth into the picture -- he was not too happy (yet)

Probably one of my favorites of all 3 boys -- all looking at the camera!

 Being silly

Awe -- lovin' on each other!  (Reminds me of Tommy Boy "Brothers don't shake hands, Brothers gotta HUG!!!"
Luke -- looking like quite the handsome young man -- he's getting so big on us!!!

Daniel -- following right along with Luke, getting so big, and handsome!
 Love this smile!
Seth -- not wanting to sit still...  oh, he was getting over a little cold, and a black eye -- he fell on the back entry step and landed on the edge of the step... poor guy was pretty beat up looking, but it's much better here.
 Awe -- a sweet smile!

Now that we are living life out in the country, it sure seems the boys have taken to that lifestyle quite well!!!
