The boys were all having a blast playing in the big field behind our house the other night, so I grabbed my camera and captured some good ones!

Birthday Boy at the Zoo

Last couple of pictures of Daniel as a 2 year old! Playing in the backyard. I just love this boy!

So for months now, Daniel has been saying that for his birthday he wanted to go to the zoo -- he came up with that one all on his own. (I think it started when I told the boys that it was just too hot to go to the zoo during the summer months, and we would go once it cooled off some, like in October or closer to Daniel's birthday.) He had his little heart set on going! So we went to the early service of church and then headed up to Waco for an early lunch and a family trip to the zoo!

He was so excited to go to the zoo and see all the animals! The weather was beautiful, we all had fun, and it was a great time celebrating Daniel's 3rd birthday!

Daniel's 3!!!

Hurray for birthday celebrations!!!
Our middle man, Daniel Cole is turning 3 (ALREADY!) Not sure how that is even possible, but I guess it just sneaks up on us! (His actual birthday isn't until the 16th - tomorrow.)
We had lots of fun with lots of friends at one of Daniel's favorite parks in Temple -- Whistlestop (the boys usually call it the train park since it's right by the downtown train tracks.) It was a beautiful summer-like day in central Texas!

Misc October Fun

We went down to Austin for the day and had some fun at Zilker Park --

Pumpkin Patch -- we went on a weekday this year and they didn't have all of their usual events open (like the horse rides, feeding goats, train ride, toy ducks, hay maze, etc.) so it was a quick little tour of the farm and a few quick pics by the pumpkins... not sure if we will make it back on the weekend this year.
