Fall Park Time

 Yes, yes, it is now late November and we are still wearing our summer t-shirts and shorts -- awe, the joys of living in Texas!!!  Although we are still a little fresh from that scorching HOT summer we had, but we'll take the very pleasant November "fall" weather!  We headed out to one of our favorite parks to feed the ducks and play on the trail... and I got to take a few fun pics of the boys in the process!

 Climbing in trees -- a little side note, sweet Seth just didn't want to sit still to take pictures (too much to explore, Mom!) so I stuck him up in this giant tree -- knowing he couldn't get down on his own -- so that I could get a couple of pictures of him!  A little mean, I know, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!

House Progress

The work at the new house is coming along (sometimes it feels like slowly, but surely!)  Here are some of the things that we have been working on lately.  We are hoping to get everything finished and moved this month!!!

The boys love to go and play -- getting dirty and "working" hard!

 The pool is completely filled in (with dirt) and cemented over... it's too bad it didn't wok out, but we are happy to have a giant play room for the boys!

We love Daddy!

We often go outside to watch and wait for Daddy to get home from work.  The boys just loving running up and getting big hugs and kisses from Daddy!  He's the BEST!

Church Festival and Trick or Treating

 For Halloween we took the kiddos to our church's Fall Festival!  It was lots of fun with games, booths, bounce houses, puppets, and lots of candy!  We had a fun time seeing everyone dressed up in their cute costumes!  And then afterwards, we made a quick trip around the our neighborhood trick or treating before it got too dark.

Sleeping Buzz Lightyear Daniel -- Silly boy should have taken that nap that Mommy tried desperately to talk him into taking!!!  Oh well, he caught a power nap at the beginning of the festival.

Birthday Boy at the Zoo

Last couple of pictures of Daniel as a 2 year old! Playing in the backyard. I just love this boy!

So for months now, Daniel has been saying that for his birthday he wanted to go to the zoo -- he came up with that one all on his own. (I think it started when I told the boys that it was just too hot to go to the zoo during the summer months, and we would go once it cooled off some, like in October or closer to Daniel's birthday.) He had his little heart set on going! So we went to the early service of church and then headed up to Waco for an early lunch and a family trip to the zoo!

He was so excited to go to the zoo and see all the animals! The weather was beautiful, we all had fun, and it was a great time celebrating Daniel's 3rd birthday!
