We are underway with many of the renovations at the Salado house -- they have completed several things (like electrical work, HVAC work, sheetrock), and are in the process of several others. Right now the big things are the railing on the porch and balconies, the front steps, and the handrail on the staircase.
Here's a couple of pictures of some of the work in progress. We are hoping to have things finished up in the next month or so! It's exciting how it is all coming together!!! (Finally!)

Also, as a side note, we have decided to ditch the indoor pool idea. It was a little sad to make that decision, but it just was taking way too much time and money to try to get it done. We decided that our money would be better used at finishing up several other projects at the house. And we will convert that into a giant "bonus" room (likely a kid-friendly playroom!) I am excited about it, and know the boys will love it once it's all finished. And we can always add an outdoor pool (one that won't mold our walls!) later!
