Getting Wet

Silly Seth boy -- he's such a little climber!!! And he has NO FEAR!!! So I will often find him standing or sitting up somewhere that he has climbed -- just as happy as a lark! He keeps me on my toes, that's for sure!!!

And who could resist this cute little face?!!??

We got a slip and slide on sale at Target recently, and the boys have had fun running and playing in it! Anything we can do to cool off, or get wet is on our agenda these days!

Luke was the only one who did the full run-and-slide technique --
but the others enjoyed playing all the same!

Central Texas (as well as many other areas) is experiencing a VERY HOT summer with many many many days over 100 degrees, and very little rainfall --- well it rained, actually drizzled (~0.10 inches) the other morning, and the boys begged to go and play in it -- just as if were snow or some other rarity!

Seth loves the little backyard slide and pool!!! He can climb in and out on his own and plays happily for quite some time!

8 Years!!

Robert and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on July 19th! It has been a fast and busy 8 years!!! (Well, I guess just the past 4.5 or so!!) We met in high school as sophomores, and started dating the following year as juniors. We stayed together throughout the rest of high school, college, grad school, and married after his 1st year of medical school. Making it a grand total of 15 years!!!
God has richly blessed us and I am so thankful that He brought us together!

My Baby is Already One!!!

My Sweet little Seth Vaughan is already one now!!! My how this past year has flown by and how he has grown! He is such a sweetheart, and so full of life and love! He has blessed our family with his fun-loving spirit and easy-going attitude, and we are so thankful for our "baby" boy!

His stats from his 1-yr check-up:
Weight: 21.7 pounds
Height: 28.5 inches
Head: 19inches
He had to get 3 immunizations, but he took them well, and got lots of hugs and kisses from Mommy afterwards.

The boys love to play -- they are 3 active little guys, and I try to give them plenty of opportunities to get out and burn some of that energy!!!

Poor Daniel got a little 2 day virus that left him totally wiped out with a high fever -- he fell asleep ~7pm (VERY unusual for him) on the floor outside of Seth's room while I was putting him down to sleep!
