Seth at 6 Months

This is Seth -- in his typical state -- a happy, healthy, little (relatively) 6 month old!!! 1/2 of his first year has already gone by -- a little too quickly, I might add!!! Here are some fun pics of our littlest boy, and some things that he is doing now.
  • Stats from his doctor's check-up: weight - 19 lb 4 oz (75%), height - 26.5 inches (50%), head - 17.5 inches (50%). He is the biggest of the 3 boys for his age!
  • He is sleeping through the night!!! Hurray! He is the last of the boys up at night (~9:30) and sleeps the latest in the mornings (~8:30am) with just 1 feeding ~5:30ish... so all-in-all I am a much more rested, and a happier momma! We had to do a couple of nights of crying/fussing to get him to sleep, but it really wasn't too bad, and he has gotten the hang of it now! Oh, and he now has his own room -- we finally put the 2 big boys in a room together, so Seth has his own crib and room.
  • He rolls EVERYWHERE! He is past that sit-in-just-one-spot phase ;( And he now will sit then transition on his belly and either roll around or pivot himself around to where he wants to go. On our wood floors, he has gotten good at pushing himself backwards!
  • He gets up on all 4s and rocks himself back and forth. He can't quite figure out how to get moving forward, but he's working on it!
  • He is eating some Gerber foods - and loves everything, and doesn't miss a mean (as you can tell from some of these pictures!) He has tried: green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, apples, berries, bananas, mango, and several combinations of these foods. And he still nurses great!
  • He loves his 2 big brothers, and they are still crazy about him! They can all make each other laugh and smile and are very sweet and affectionate with each other -- it's no wonder how colds get spread around here!
  • He doesn't have any teeth yet, but he is working on getting his 2 bottom ones -- he will stick just about anything in his mouth and gnaw on it!
  • He loves his daddy, and will just smile and light up when he sees him! He tolerates playing with daddy much more now than before, but is probably happiest with mommy still.
  • He is such a little sweetheart, and we are so happy that he is a part of our family! We are so thankful that God has blessed us with 3 healthy boys!
