He is a healthy little guy, his stats:
Weight: 22 lbs 1 oz (~25th%)
Length: 30.5 inches (~20th%)
Head: 18.75 inches (~75th%) -- big head, like his Daddy!
He is a walking, talking, smiling bundle of energy and love! He is saying ~40 words already and putting 2 word "sentences" together! Some of my favorites are: "kaaay" (okay), "too-tee" (cookie, Luke taught him that one!), "der-do" (there you go), "bish" (fish), "baffff" (bath), "joo" (juice), "ta-da" (when he's done something he is proud of!), "ni-ni" (he knows when he is ready for bed!), "cheeeee" (when I take his picture!), "Dan-ya Dis" (Daniel This -- pointing to whatever it is that he wants), "peeezzzzz" (please), "taaay-tuuuu" (thank you), and MY FAVORITE OF ALL -- "wuv-ooooooo" (love you! -- melts my heart!)
Some things that he is into now-a-days:
He loves to chase after Luke and try to do anything that he is doing!
He loves to climb!!!!! (Much to my dismay!) -- on the couch, on the chairs, on the table, on the island, anywhere he can! Luke was just the same way, but it still makes me a little nervous!
He loves to RUN! He's always on the go!
He loves to eat! He is usually not a picky eater!
He loves to be outside ("ss-si" as he says)! I love the sunny winter days that we can spend outside!
He loves books! He will sit, legs out with a little book on his lap "reading" or bring one to me and say "boooo"!!!
He loves his Momma! Walks around the house, following me, repeating "Mama, Mama, Mama" -- I know I need to cherish these moments dearly!
He loves his Daddy! He gets SO excited when Daddy comes home... runs to the door, smiling ear to ear, saying "Dada, Dada, Dada!"
He loves his big brother "Bubba" -- since he usually wakes up before Luke in the mornings, he loves getting to rush into his room and climb up in his bed with him (Luke is usually receptive to that!)
I just love each and every phase of life with my boys! I miss the previous phases (hence the 3rd pregnancy!), but at the same time, I know that "this too shall pass" so I try to live in the moment that I am given with them and enjoy this season of their life... knowing it will pass far too quickly! I am so thankful for their health and for the joy that they bring to my life! I am one blessed Momma!
Now for a few pics of Daniel's adventures!
